MicroPower Technologies' proprietary patent pending TrustLinx™ wireless air interface is the result of a complete reinvention of wireless video streaming. Rather than bolt a video camera to a wireless transmitter, MicroPower has designed a system which is optimize for power efficiency while retaining the operating range, video resolution and frame rate required for high quality live video streaming.

A MicroPower camera is designed for ultimate power efficiency and receives it's instructions and coordination from the MicroPower hub base station where power efficiency is not as critical. The hub base station also assures coordination with 802.11 wifi devices, allowing MicroPower devices to operate along side 802.11 wifi.

The MicroPower hub presents the video as industry standard H.264 or Motion JPEG streams over Ethernet. Each camera is individually addressable using IP address. MicroPower cameras appear on the network as standard IP cameras which can inter-operate with Network Video Recorders or Personal Computer with decode software. Video from a MicroPower hub can be sent virtually anywhere using standard IP networks.
