Wearable Applications

The compact size and extended run time of the wearable Mini-i wireless camera makes it perfect for law enforcement and covert surveillance. With a range of up to 1000 feet to a MiniHub or MetroHub hub base station which can be mounted in a vehicle or carried in a book bag, the MicroPower Technologies wearable solution is extremely flexible and highly portable.

Mobile Solution
Officers simply wear the 2"x3.5" credit card size Mini-i camera on their shirt pocket and the camera provides always on, live real time video streaming for an entire 12 hour shift at 30 frames per second in brilliant VGA resolution. The video can be sent back to a vehicle where it can be recorded or sent on via any IP network to supervisors or dispatchers.

The simple recharging system allows the Mini-i to be rapidly replenished and ready for another shift.

Tactical Operations
Each MicroPower hub base station can support up to 16 cameras, allowing an entire team of officers to be equipped with individually viewable cameras operating simultaneously. And since this video is presented at standard IP steam, it can be viewed easily by multiple supervisors without any complex coordination of RF spectrum.

Covert Applications
The Mini-i has an external connection which allows the use of an external wired imager which can be disguised in clothing, hats, sunglasses or buttons. With long range operation at low system input power, the Mini-i stays cool and comfortable to wear for up to 12 hours.

The Mini-i can also be embedded in typical household devices such as wall clocks, toys, books etc. as a hidden device. By setting the frame rate or resolution down the Mini-i can run for several days without recharge.

Features for Law Enforcement
All MicroPower cameras support state of the art AES 256 bit encryption, are extremely difficult to detect due to the innovative TrustLinx protocol, and can be enhanced to support GPS time and location recording, fragile digital watermarking, and other features required for chain of evidence.
